SE-lifestyle Flash Menu Picker

(1) Introduction

This is an elf that looks pretty simple, all it does is changing the flash menu your phone uses (though it was relatively hard to make it, many errors on the phone while not on PC). This of course means that only flash-capable phones are supported.

Using Unicode in ini file

And without data loss.

Soon after releasing SE-lifestyle Deskbar, Russian users started asking for supporting Russian (Cyrillic) characters.

The problem was, that the ini used simple ASCII encoding, 1 byte for 1 character. Russian and others need more than this, because this way there can only be 256 different characters.
Compiling elves

What is a compiler?

A compiler is a computer program (or set of programs) that transforms source code written in a computer language (the source language) into another computer language (the target language, often having a binary form known as object code). The most common reason for wanting to transform source code is to create an executable program.
